Well today I finally felt better. They unplugged me from Dorothy, my infusion bag holder. Then they gave me a drug that makes my stomach feel better. No I don't like praying to the porcelain God. I took a walk on campus and got outside of the hospital for a while. That got the Dr.s and Nurses all excited for a while, but they understood it and were OK with it. Molly visits me a couple of times a day and goes to work in the middle. That keeps her mind on something else. I know this is driving her crazy, and it's hard on everyone. Anyway, tomorrow we start on Radation. They tatooed (just kidding they used a sharpie) my chest with the outline of my lungs, where they protect that tissue, as it only gets half the dose of other parts of the body.

Hi Chris - I'm Lynn Gilbertson, Dick Cheslock's daughter. My dad has been keeping his family updated on your status & we have been thinking/praying for you amidst your battles. What a great idea to have this blog. I loved seeing you today, Chris, and you looked fabulous! I should be doing the same protocol but I guess it wasn't in the cards for me. I'm on to other options. You do this for me and all those with this nasty disease and you WIN!! Many prayers are with you!!
Went to a little church in Springfield with a friend tonight, and couldn't get you off my mind. I prayed for you, for strength and healing in your body. And for peace for you both. I can't be there physically with you, but know that you both are on my mind everyday, all day long. So, I am with you in spirit! Sending much love. Molly - i love you girlfriend.
Hey Chris, Happy Memorial Day. It was nice to see Molly when she came up for the wedding, wish you could have come. We had dinner with Dennis and Beth last nite ... we're thinking of you. Mar is out of school this week, I still have to work. We'll be heading down to Fl to vist my dad and stepmom in a couple of weeks. Take care, Doug & Marilyn.
