Molly here....Another update....they found 2 deep tumors when they went in...not 1. so now we wait for the results of the biopsies on the 2 removed. One of the newly discovered ones is very close to the ear canal. I told the doctor our house was already designed for the deaf, but some how he thought I was just weird. Can u imagine that?

Hey guys,
Please kick butt on these last little tumors and get rid of them once and for all, ok. Hope you are much improved Chris at this time. Bonita's father died early last week. He was 86, had diabetes, overweight, never exercised, & was in poor health for the last year so although it wasn't totally unexepected it's still difficult. Otherwise we're hanging in there but things are sure hectic (or is it just advancing age). Let us know if you're in town over the holidays so we can try to get together at Olney Grill or B&Js or somewhere. lol, f

The house of the deaf, eh. Does that mean that Lucky will get certified as a hearing ear dog?
I hope to get over to see you both when I get back from Michigan. It was such a crazy week before school finished that I barely had time to breath, much less visit. Take care and Happy New Year. I'll be pulling for you, Chris!
Hey Fred and Bonita. Our condolences for Bonita's father. The only hope is that he went quickly. That was my only hope last year when I was in such bad condition, that if this disease took me that it was not a long drawn out affair When that affects you, the only dignity you have left is to pass on and end the pain.
Amy:It sure was a long couple of years on a very slippery slope. This disease gives you very few footholds on which to grab. There are very few pieces of good news. NIH is such a great place. If there is any Government agency that deserves full funding, we should fund them to the same level we fund many of our other agencies. We owe it to our children and grandchildren. They are smart, most professional, and so effective. You have to have what they are looking for, but if you do, they pick up all of the tab...everything and throw every resource to your recovery. I was impressed.
Kathy: Thanks for stopping by and taking me over to MICRO CTR. Molly and I liked the wireless mouse. Took us a little to make it work, but it's fine. I appreciated getting out, as nothing was going on New Years day. Thanks, Chris
